We're looking for committed volunteers to join our kaupapa in Rotorua. Māori Wardens are a visible, trusted presence in our community, working alongside whānau, community groups, and partner agencies to promote wellbeing, safety and manaaki for all,
What Do Māori Wardens Do?
As a Māori Warden, you may be involved in:

Supporting community safety through patrols and public events

Providing a calm, culturally grounded presence in public spaces

Assisting whānau in times of need

Working alongside Police and other agencies
-
Upholding tikanga on our Marae
Who Can Be a Māori Warden?
You don't need previous experience, just the right values. We welcome:

People aged 17 and over

Those who care about whānau and community wellbeing

Good communicators and calm problem solvers

People willing to learn tikanga, protocols, and safety practices
